BROAD & SOUTH COMMUNITY ARTS GARDEN, WATERING SCHEDULE 2009
Filling the water barrels is scheduled every week on Wed. at 6:30 pm & Sat. at 10:00 am.
If you cannot participate in watering when it is your turn, it is your responsibility to contact another gardener and find a substitute. For safety, security, and liability reasons you cannot ask someone from outside the garden to take over your turn. Watering equipment will not be given to them.
Please contact the others on your team when it is your turn to fulfill this obligation. You can work out a schedule amongst yourselves. 2 people present per date from your team works well. You dont all need to be there at the same time.
Laurie & Gloria will have the equipment
Each group will be given 2 additional special watering days during the dry season to make sure there is enough water, and at the end of the watering season in September. If the barrels are still dry, contact the Emergency Watering team through Laurie.
Make an effort to show up for your turn, or notify someone on you team that you cannot make it. In this way, we get the job done that we all need done without taking advantage of the hard work of other gardeners.
Failure to participate in watering will result in the forfeiture of your plot in 2010.
